PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0 Map Reportedly Leaked via Chinese Version of the Game

PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0 is said to come with more in depth vehicle customisations allowing players to rearrange the controls for vehicles.

Battle royale title PUBG Mobile’s owner Tencent Games has added an upgraded version of the classic Erangel map in the Chinese beta version Game For Peace (also known as Peacekeeper Elite), as per a report by GizChina. This could be the test stage of what is believed to be the Erangel 2.0 map and since it is in beta only, the global update may take some time to arrive in PUBG Mobile

Ultra HD graphics 

The report further notes that Ultra HD Graphics settings have been added to the Game for Peace’s beta, so it should make its way to the global version, sooner or later. As of writing this article, the Ultra HD option is present in PUBG Mobile, but tapping on it only shows the pop-up that says “coming soon.”

Vehicle control customisation 

This feature is said to give players more control over the button layout when driving. This will allow players to choose exactly where they want the controls to be when in a vehicle. Currently, players can only choose the type of driving controls they want in PUBG Mobile, but they cannot change those controls around. 

New graphics

The report also notes that Erangel 2.0 will feature improved graphics with a higher level of detail. It was noted that building interiors are more detailed, while some structures have been modified and colours tweaked.
