WhatsApp users cannot see each other’s Last Seen or a sign of being Online
“WhatsApp is experiencing issues when updating privacy settings,” said a tweet by WABetainfo. Many users pointed out the issue with tweets like “Does anyone know what’s going on with #whatsapp?” taking rounds. Meanwhile, the official Twitter account of Mumbai Police also tweeted on the matter saying it saw no hassles, confirming that not everyone faced the issue.
Users in India have reported a WhatsApp last seen issue. Because of the glitch, people are not able to see each other’s last seen or online status.
In the late evening, WhatsApp’s privacy settings were changed.
According to the Down Detector, an Independent outage monitor spotted an increase in WhatsApp down reports.
A lot of WhatsApp users of this messaging app are tweeting about the same on Twitter.
Users started facing the glitch in India since 8:40 pm
The cause of such issues is usually a problem with the server. There has been no formal comment made by the company about the latest WhatsApp glitch.
Until now, over 2200 users have reported issues with WhatsApp on the website.
