WhatsApp Group Call Limit Increased, Will Now Support Up to 8 People
Facebook on Saturday announced that it is increasing the limit for participants in a WhatsApp Group call to eight.
The current limit for the number of participants on a group call for Facebook’s messaging platform WhatsApp is 4. The social media giant announced that it will be increasing the limit to 8 for everyone.
The announcement was part of a bunch of new product updates announced by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
WhatsApp, with two billion users across the world, WhatsApp users just might prefer to stick to this platform instead of taking their chances with other chatting/video calling apps.
How to Use it:
It works the same way as group video and voice calls. If you’re in a WhatsApp group with more than four members you can make a voice or video call by adding up to eight people including yourself.
- Tap on the call icon on top of the group chat to make a group call.
- If the group has more than eight members, you’ll have to select the participants.
