There have been continuous reports about OnePlus Z for the last few months. However, the company has not yet released any official tweet or statement about it.
Chinese smartphone company OnePlus is bringing a new mid-range smartphone. It is being told that it will be a OnePlus Z smartphone. But in some places it is also being called OnePlus 8 Lite. OnePlus has announced today that an event will be held on July 2, which will be online. During this time the company will launch cheaper smart TV. With this new smart TV in India, the company will target Xiaomi and Realme. One week later, on July 10, OnePlus Z or OnePlus 8 Lite can also be launched.
The OnePlus Z runs OxygenOS based on Android 10. The OnePlus Z tipped to be a dual-SIM smartphone.
Connectivity options on the OnePlus Z are said to include Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone are rumoured to include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
OnePlus confirmed that the company is working on a mid-range smartphone. It can be launched initially only for the Indian market. For the past few months, information related to OnePlus Z is being leaked. According to them, 6.55-inch AMOLED display will be given in OnePlus Z and the refresh rate will be 90Hz. This smartphone will have 128GB of storage with 6GB of RAM. For photography, a triple rear camera can be given in OnePlus Z. It will have a 48 megapixel primary lens, while a 16 megapixel wide angle lens and a 2 megapixel macro lens will be given.
