Earlier this year, Samsung had launched the Galaxy Z Flip as the company’s second foldable smartphone. Now, the South Korean giant is all set to launch a new 5G variant of the same pretty soon.
As per the reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be launched along with the Galaxy Note20 series flagship smartphones and the next-generation Galaxy Fold 2 smartphone. While the company is yet to confirm the existence of this smartphone, this model has been spotted getting Bluetooth SIG certification.
Meanwhile, key specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G has been leaked online through Weibo. It is being reported that the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC, clocked at 3.09GHz.
Earlier, the Geekbench listing showed that the phone will feature SD865 chipset. It’s noteworthy that the original Galaxy Z Flip comes powered by the Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, so it makes sense if the 5G variant comes packed with SD865 Plus chipset.
