PUBG’s latest patch adds C4 and makes vehicles a little safer
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has a brand new weapon, and it’s sure to cause a bang. The game’s latest patch adds C4 to the game, but also makes vehicles a little safer, along with a few improvements to the new version of Vikendi.
According to the Pubg Tweet, the new throwable C4 is an interesting and powerful tool that gives players new ways to strategically flush out timid opponents.
Vehicle balance has gotten a big change as well. Damaged vehicles will now have a delay before they explode, giving you a short window to bail out before the boom. In addition, damage to most vehicles is now mitigated when not hitting vital areas
A notable addition in this update is the C4 throwable. The C4 in PUBG can stick to almost any surface including vehicles (not to players, though) and will automatically detonate 16 seconds after being thrown. There is no way to detonate the explosive early or to stop it, but the intensity of the beep keeps increasing closer to detonation within the C4’s damage radius of 25 m. The C4 throwable can be found as world loot in the Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi, and Sanhok maps.
